Wow! Where do I start... Mr & Mrs Webb contacted me a couple of months before their big day and I fell completely in love with how they described their day. It was such a stunning intimate wedding with just the bride and groom and five members of their family.
Bridal and groom prep was together at Theobald's Estate. The boardroom they had booked for the ceremony and reception was gorgeous! The beautiful dark wooden decor was enhanced by the romantic feel from the candles, stunning flowers and the seven seats that sat waiting for the amazing ceremony that was to take place.
They wanted the day to be captured as naturally and relaxed as possible which was a dream for me, although it is a lot harder to blend into the crowd and capture those natural moments when theres only seven people it was a challenge I was so excited to be a part of (finally thankful for being so petite)
The ceremony was filled with emotion, love and those tender moments that create the most beautiful frames. The grounds at Theobald's Estate are gorgeous and having shot their three times this year its very quickly becoming a favourite of mine!
After the family shots, there was a Chinese tea ceremony followed by the meal (which was delicious!) This was a perfect opportunity for me to look through what I had captured during the day and send them sneak peeks straight away and seeing their enchanted reaction reinforced why I love my job so much.
As the sun was no where to be seen come sunset, we wondered off just the three of us to do a few more relaxed couple portraits within the grounds and it was so magical, emotional and delicate.
This was my first experience of an intimate wedding and it was so much more than I could have ever imagined, safe to say I am hooked! And if you're thinking of keeping your wedding small, this wedding really proves how beautiful your day can be with just your closest loved ones.
